Here are some tips for common issues experienced.
- No Case Scheduled
- Most of the below issues can be related to a case not being scheduled and a new patient being manually entered.
- All registered patients are already in iPro and could be found through the search feature.
- We should not have to manually enter patient information for a case because demographic info comes through when a search has been used and the correct patient is selected.
- Manually entering patient information presents opportunities for incorrect information to be entered.
- Common errors occur with the name of the patient, account number, MRN, and date of birth.
- No Charge
- Incorrect patient information. (was the patient entered manually?)
- Incorrect CPT or Procedure
- New CPT or Procedure that needs to be mapped
- An IT Ticket needs to be created to update CPTs to Charge Code mapping.
- The interface is down
- No Anesthesia Report
- Incorrect patient information. (was the patient entered manually?)
- Interface is down.
- Error in system
- Go into the case
- Click the three buttons on top right
- “View Records” has an exclamation next to it
- Click View Records
- A new Report will create and go into the patient chart
- Incorrect Charge
- Incorrect Procedure Selected
- Procedure Manually Entered
- CPT Manually Entered
- Medications Not Charging
- Medications written in a comments section or other text area will not reflect the administration of medication. Only medications administered in the chart on the drug section will cross over into Meditech.
- Medications Charging Incorrectly
- The dose or unit is incorrect
- iPro Test and Live
- You can switch between the test and live environments

- Having an Issue with iPro
- We have 24x7 support from iPro. To report an issue, click the question mark icon at the top right of the screen and select “Report a problem”.
- A new screen will pop up and it allows you to describe the problem and add in your contact information.
- If you are in a case it will relate the case you are already in.
- It will also give you a phone number to contact them in urgent situations.
